…..as I agreed to enter a book binding thing of binding a text block based on a letter by Nicolas Baudin disputing Captain Cook’s findings of Terra Nullius.
I’m trying some things out as I’ve made my own cords that I want visible on the inside of the book, and parts of the outside. Not sure how I feel about them on the outside yet. Glad I’ve done a dummy run.

Not sure how I feel about the raised thread on the image.
I’m binding up a conference paper from the NSW bookbinders guild and made my own cover and endpapers as there isn’t one already.
But I like my new friends so will probably turn it into a new zine at some stage.

Actually I don’t think I have. I had a great day at the MCA Zine Fair yesterday and I’m feeling pretty happy, so I thought I’d ruin it by going to Eveleigh Artisans Market next Sunday the 2nd of June.
I’ll have most of what I had at the Zine Fair there, but also some of my hand made notebooks and calico bags, to carry you shopping, books, zines, whatever.
So thank you all you zine freaks who came out yesterday. It makes it all worthwhile.
See you next year, or at the Many Zine Fair in September. Now that should be hilarious as I might be teaching how to bind books. Like I know anything.
Thanks everyone.
