Market this Sunday the 27th November

So I’ve been making these awful Christmas decorations.

You can buy them and other garbage (but then again why would you) at the Pop Camperdown.

Sunday the 27th of November.

It’s on from 11am to 3 or 4pm

74-76 Pyrmont Bridge Road, Camperdown.

Come and bother me, or not. I don’t think it will be too busy.

There will be other people with talent there, so it may be worthwhile.

Cheapskate Art Market.

I’ll be there today with A4 prints of my protesting friends. Also cards, zines and other crap.

Today at 74 – 76 Pyrmont Bridge Road, Camperdown, NSW.

11am to 4pm.

Art Market

So there is a new Art Market opening up. I’ll be there for the first week, but not sure if I’ll do any more. Having market stalls are pretty upsetting. Especially as it seems to be an invitation for people to give advice.

This Sunday at 74 – 76 Pyrmont Bridge Road, Camperdown, NSW.

11am to 4pm.

Come and visit as I want to get rid of a lot of stuff. I might also bring my Christmas decorations.

Plus I’ll be tired and grumpy, like that’s any different.

Manly Zine Fair

The flyer for the Manly Zine Fair is out. Picture by me. It’s getting to be a tradition. I’ll have to break that soon enough.

The Zine Fair is on the Saturday the 20th of September, 11am to 2pm. I’ll be running a zine/bookbinding workshop of varying quality during the fair. Lets see if I can beat last years class size of two.

New Zine out now! The Witches.

New Zine out now! The Witches.

I’ll be floating around the MCA and Other Worlds Zine Fairs tomorrow, and will have a bunch with me. Otherwise buy it on ETSY. Only $1.50. Bargain.

Canberra Zine Emporium – Next weekend 23rd March

I’m making a little trip down the the nations capital for the Canberra Zine Emporium on Sunday the 23rd at Gorman House. Not sure where that is, but if you’re in the area, come and pester me.

There is also something the day before at the Museum of Democracy where they’ll be launching the Zine Lounge. I’ll have a bunch of zines you can play with and I think there will be zine making workshop.

Lastly my friend Elizabeth JMW sent me a review of “The Maze” a story of hers I illustrated. Nice things were said. You will be able to pick p a copy off me in Canberra should you wish.

Last market, like forever. More art, less product. Sunday the 1st of December

The choice was taken out of my hands. I was going to stop doing my the markets anyway, as all I was doing was paying the stall rent. It’s all very nice being out there, and people saying nice things about my artwork. But, really I’m quite happy to spend that Sunday at home and make no money.  But the markets decided that they would pull the plug before I got the chance to quit. Now I’m really kind of pissed.

So this will be your last chance. I will continue to do the occasional zine fair, as they are fun, and cost nothing to do. I’m also pulling my work out of all retail outlets. I’m going to remove all my artwork from Redbubble at the end of the year. That’s it!!

Don’t expect any bargains. What I don’t sell goes on the Barbeque. So stay away vultures. You didn’t want it before. You don’t get it for free now.

But don’t worry, I will never stop making art. I’m just stopping making product.

Eveleigh Artisans Market. Last one ever, Wilson St, Darlington NSW. Sunday the 1st of December 2013.

There is much to do

So there is a lot in the works, but still so much to do. One thing I’ve been working on for way too long, is the story of my fiend  Elizabeth JMW’s grandparents during World War II. It’s a wordless sort of comic. And now I think I’m almost there.

I’m hoping to have it ready for the Manly Zine Fair, where I will be running a simple bookbinding workshop. It’s on the 21st of September outside the Manly Library. Check my EVENTS page for more details. There are a few more things in the pipeline, including the second of my collaborative fashion Zines with Katie Haegele, which will also be ready about this time. You can get it at the Zine fair or from my ESTY shop HERE.
