I was a little busy….

….at the bookbinders a week ago.

I had a bunch of text blocks that had been lying around for months. So I pulled my finger out and made covers for the straya books. Fools and Pilgrims Progressive Rock are my own babies.

The rest are a bunch of bootlegs that I’ve formatted and printed and made terrible covers for. I’d feel bad if the authors weren’t dead.

Just to be annoying….

…a crooked book on pedantry.

Anne E. Leak….born….

…without arms. But that didn’t stop her. Made a career for herself and could sew like a demon.

I made a bootleg book of her biography. Downloaded the scanned pages, removed the brown from the old pages and reprinted in sections. Sewed it up in the continuous sewing style and made a little paper cover, which I drew a nice picture of her brandishing a pair of scissors which was her thing.

Sculpting a …..

……lot of nothing.

Time to wake up…..

…..and bootleg.

Bootleg binding.

Continuous sewing.

Original painted and drawn cover.

Dance until….

….you rot.

Watching work….

…is exhausting.

Finished this one…

…..to never see the light of day.

Another bootleg finished

Witchcraft and second sight of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Always the bridesmaid….

…..never the bride.

Three times second prize.

Do androids dream…

…of their favourite book.

Bookbinding and illustrations by me, because why not. Before they take over.
