It pays to work with me
I have a new zine just printed. It pays to work with me. These are cards I painted for work friends (mostly) at work for birthdays and farewells.
It’s very nice, and this will be the last chance to see my ugly mug in a public ziney event this year as they canceled my zine fair at Waterloo.
Manly Zine Fair, Manly Library. 11am to 2pm. Let hope the rain holds off and we can have it outside. Otherwise catch us inside.

I hope the wait was worth it. Over three years in fact. The Otley Butterfly is the story of Elizabeth J. M. Walkers grandmother in World War Two, and how she formed friendships over enemy lines. Just the people caught up in a war they didn’t create.
I hope I’ve done it justice.
I’ll have it at the Manly Zine Fair this Saturday. Be one of the first in the world to get a copy. I am sending copies right now to Elizabeth who is going to have a book event on the 26th of September. I’ll keep you informed of that when I find out.
Elizabeth is a writer who wrote the script for this wordless Graphic Novella. You can find more about her on her website.

Her new novel “She Dreamed of Dragons,” is out now.
I’ve previously illustrated two of her fairy tales which are available in my ETSY shop.
