So you can buy this hand coloured print and more this Sunday at the Magic, Pixels, Bubbles event this Sunday the 15th of May 2016. The Valve Bar in the Agincourt Hotel from 871 George Street Broadway, Sydney – 5pm.

Here’s some more information from the website.

A geeky variety night spectacular featuring geek music, magic, comedy, indie comic art, zines, board games and a bubble machine! PLUS, a very special CD launch for Meri Amber’s 90s themed album Retro Sherbet. Come in cosplay for a free gift at the door 😉

Featuring geek pop musician Meri Amber, comedian Trish Koutrodimos and magician Liam Power, the show will be MC’d by PatCat, the crazy inventor man who speaks at tech conferences and created the tech blog Dev Diner. On top of which, there’ll also be a gallery of art from some of the best indie comic artists in Sydney and zines from some of the best Sydney zinesters.

Get into some board games, food and drinks whilst being entertained from every wonderfully geeky angle. Be there and be square.

P.S. If you’ve got a favourite board game feel free to bring it along!

Or just show up on the night.

I’ve got nothing

BOM 05.jpgSo I’ve got to get a blurb ready for the picture party that’s coming up August 27 and 28, but haven’t even finished a single painting. And I don’t have a title. Maybe book of miracles, but it’s looking more like book of crap at the moment.

But come along anyway as the food is always great. Actually I’m more excited about the food. It’s something you can rely on in these time of trouble.

I was also thinking of calling it Jewels and Fools.

Battered and bruised, battered and bruised, all good to go, Royalty used.

Songs of Protest 22 – Songs of Blue

So I’ve started again. I still probably have a least enough protesters for another 20, but one zine a week for the next couple of months should do it.

Feel free not to buy it like the last 21 HERE.

New Songs of Protest zine out.

Lipstick on a pig

18 come hither med

I’ll be having a picture party in August at the Watch House in Balmain. This painting was from a previous show, so won’t be in the new one. But it represents what you will find there.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig.

Which pretty much sums up my pictures. All smoke and mirrors. But then again she’s a pretty fetching pig.

Street Art Workshops 2016 A3.jpg

Manly library is getting me to run some workshops in June on how to make street art. It’s kind of hilarious really, but there you go.

I like that it mentions that I started my bullshit arts festival. Which reminds me I should be doing a bit more of that.

Hot on the heels of my previous collection, here is another lot of cards I made for friends and work friends.

16 pages of love in full colour in A6 size.

I’m going to take it easy on these this year as I have a picture party coming up in August and need to work on that. Available at my ETSY store.
